Who owns this site

This guide site and the two stores share an owner. SoftPro Water Systems (softprowatersystems.com) sells its own softeners, conditioners, resin and accessories. Quality Water Treatment (qualitywatertreatment.com) sells SoftPro and Fleck systems along with replacement parts such as control valves, bypass valves, brine valves, brine tanks and resin cleaners. When you buy something through a store link on this site, the business that owns the site earns money from that sale.

How we link to products

Our guides are about doing the job well, whatever softener you own. Most steps apply to any brand, and we say when a step is specific to one valve or model. We add a store link only when one of the two stores sells the exact part or product a guide discusses, and we describe it using the store's own published details and price, dated October 2026. Every page with a store link opens with a short ownership note, and each link in the text is marked as a store we own. Read more about the site on the about page or go straight to all guides.

What we don't do

• Rank or review softener brands. That isn't the job of a how-to site.
• Claim lab or field results for a product, or describe customer experiences we can't show.
• Say a part fits a model unless the store's own listing says so.
• Accept payment from other companies to mention them.
