What we collect

Water Softener Guide has nothing to fill in. There are no forms, accounts, comment boxes or newsletter sign-ups, so the site never asks for your name, email, phone number or payment details. It sets no advertising cookies, runs no ad networks, and does not sell or share visitor information. There is no tracking script that follows you from page to page, and no third-party analytics code is loaded in your browser.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by a hosting and content-delivery provider. Its servers keep standard request logs: the IP address making the request, the time, the page or file requested, the referring page, and the browser and device type your browser reports. Those logs exist to deliver pages, block abuse and fix errors. They are kept for the provider's normal retention period and are not used to profile visitors or to target advertising anywhere else on the web.

Videos

Some guides include a video hosted on YouTube. Until you press play, the page shows only the video's thumbnail image, which is fetched from YouTube's image server; no YouTube player, script or cookie is loaded. When you press play, the video plays in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that playback.

Links to other sites

Some guides link to product pages on softprowatersystems.com or qualitywatertreatment.com. Those stores share an owner with this site, as set out in the ownership disclosure, but each runs its own checkout, cookies and privacy policy. Once you leave this site, the store's policy applies. We don't link to other companies' stores.

Changes

If the site ever starts collecting information, for example through a new feature, this page will be updated before that change goes live. See also the terms of use and accessibility statement.
